Was feeling a little odd-mooded today so I decided to go for a bit of a walk. Was half pondering to walk to MEC and back, but I didn't quite have that much insane energy in me. hhehe I decided just to end up going on a walk to where ever. Before I got started, I checked the weather page at CBC to see what it's like outside. Hrmmm. Cold. Well, maybe not cold as we call it, but darn right chilly. I say to myself 'Pah! Weather! Do your worse. I'm going for a walk!' and so I leave!

I'm walking down Somerset and then wind is damn gusty.. there's stuff blowing around and I notice that it's starting to snow. I laugh. 'Hah! You'll have to do better than that, weather! You can't stop me!' and I continue to break my path. I get to the train bridge and I pop out my camera.. I gotta pop the shutterspeed up to about 1/250s because I'm being blown around so much. But I'm determined. I get my photo and carry on.

I make a large circle-about through some open field and grass.. cut around and make my way to Gladstone.. cut up through Preston and it starts to hail. I laugh even louder and I hum a little louder and I walk a little harder. No weather is gonna stop me. I make the last mile, I arrive at home. I enjoy hot coffee. :)

Those who know me, know that I'm determined about the weather not getting in my way. Raining? Bring a raincoat.. put it on and you're dry and warm underneath. Snow? No big deal. Easy to deal. Dress for the elements properly, and it's as if the elements aren't even there. Nothing's gotta stand in your path unless you let it stand there.
